Proposition: You should defeat your enemies.

By telling God your problems(1-2)
About those who oppose you (1)
About those who undermine your confidence in God (2)

By taking confidence in God (3-6)
God shields you (3a)
God lifts your head high (3b)
God answers your call for help (4)
God sustains you in sleeping and waking (5).
God outnumbers your enemies (6)

By asking God for deliverance (7)
Ask God to deliver you from your enemies (7a)
Ask God to avenge you of your enemies (7b)
